By personal request at the Citizen’s Service Centres, you can get help for the most common tax issues such as your preliminary assessment of income, tax card or annual tax return.
As of January 1, 2008, a letter of authorisation for customer tax service is needed if you attend the meeting on behalf of your partner, cohabitant or somebody else.
Moreover, you can get help on how to use the online tax authorities’ self services and tax files (‘TastSelv’). If you have any detailed tax-related questions you must contact the national tax authorities (SKAT).
SKAT handles all matters concerning taxes, labour market contribution, assessment of property, value-added tax, customs duties and collection of debt.
As of January 1, 2008, SKAT handles the registration of vehicles. Find the nearest license plate service centre on SKAT’s website.
